Dentist

Schooling: Dr. Stamenkovic initially completed a Degree in Dentistry in Serbia.  She later moved to Canada, where she completed another full degree in Dentistry at the University of Toronto.  Dr. Stamenkovic is a high achiever that is fervent about expanding her knowledge in Dentistry.   She is continuously taking extensive programs with highly regarded institutes, such as the Dawson Academy’s Functional Occlusion course and Surgical Implant course with the Mish Implant Institute.

Why Dentistry? When asked why dentistry, Dr. Stamenkovic put it like this: she did a process of elimination – she knew what she did not want to do, and looked at things that she enjoyed. Health care was a definite career choice for her, and she narrowed it down to Dentistry.  According to Dr. Stamenkovic; “I enjoy working with people and helping them.  I always look at the mouth as a piece of art”.  

What I Like Best About RYD:  Dr. Stamenkovic feels that RYD is a fast paced atmosphere – there is never a dull moment and collaboratively the team works hard and stands by their work.  The team makes each day memorable.

My Passion:  Dr. Stamenkovic is passionate about surgery and reconstructing people’s mouths.  It amazes her to start out with nothing and finish off with a full mouth of teeth.  This truly makes people happier in the end, and gives them a reason to continue smiling.  On a more personal note, Dr. Stamenkovic is passionate about travelling across the world, and experiencing all that the world has to offer.

Hobbies: Dr. Stamenkovic is always found with a book, and also enjoys focusing on spirituality, painting, and rollerblading, not to mention, spending time with her wonderful husband.
