Accomodating for Young Adults

You've probably got big time-demands from school and work. We'll fit appointments into your busy life.

Your Child's Dental Options

If your child needs dental treatment such as fillings and extractions, we have some options:

Option #1. We take care of any children's dental care needs in our office.

Option #2. We refer your child to Toronto Pediatric Dentists (Specialists).

Option #3. We refer your child to a Sedation Dentistry Specialist.

Option #4. We refer your child to the dental deprtment of Toronto Sick Children’s Hospital.

In most cases, we prefer to take care of any children's dental care needs ourselves. If your child is already comfortable with us and has reasonable cooperation, the dental visits will tend to go smoothly.

Sending your child to a different office can be disruptive or upsetting. On the other hand, we don't want your child to have an emotional upset in our office and feel afraid to come back.

 Sedation for Children

If your child appears anxious, sedation dentistry can be a great choice. To help your child relax, we can either give them something to take before their appointment, or use Nitrous-Oxide Gas during their appointment.

We usually recommend the Nitrous Oxide for children's dental care - it’s safe, effective and wears off immediately once their appointment is finished. 

Dr. Milica Stamenkovic states, "Children love the "laughing gas" (Nitrous Oxide) It makes them giddy and relaxed. Time flies by under the gas. It's perfectly safe and your child is back to normal before they leave. I highly recommend it."
